You can get your hair colored, cut and a blowout for 20% off and across the street find skater shoes, hip hop street styles as well as real gold, silver and cubic zirconium jewelry and even a gym membership with personal training. There are layers of events happening downtown because it is concurrently record store day. Leading the charge on that front is Left of the Dial Record Shop an outpost of emo and 90s shoe-gazer rock. Opening at 7 am the store will feature special vinyl releases offering up to 50 % off great music. Can’t find what you want, around the corner we Charlies tattoo’s a business that has been on La Cuatro for 30 years who will also be selling a large selection records for 25% off.

Our unique collective of shops and restaurants hold specials for every taste and will offer great deals on Friday but for the first time ever we will usher in the celebration of our amazing set of small businesses on Saturday. “Every dollar you spend in a small business returns three times more money to the local economy per the multiplier effect.” said Ryan Smolar, Executive Director of the Downtown business association, Downtown Inc. This year many of our small businesses will extend their deals to shop small Saturday. But the fun doesn’t stop there cause on Sunday we go from small business to micro business with The Patchwork Festival an amazing craft fair where you will find the most unique gifts in all of Orange County. If you have never experienced a maker fair it is a tight night bazar of hand crafted goods, clever products artful food and handicraft, food trucks and jamming. Overall you don’t want to miss this weekend in Santa Ana.
