An unidentified 23-year-old woman from Victorville was shot in her left hip on Wednesday night, near West Washington Ave. and Bewley St., where she was working as a prostitute, according to the O.C. Register.
SAPD investigators spoke to the victim at a local hospital, where a friend took her for treatment, after 10:45 p.m., according to the SAPD.
The victim told the police that a man had stopped his vehicle that evening near where she was walking. She entered the vehicle and gave him instructions to drive to Seaboard Circle in Garden Grove. The suspect was described as a stocky Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s with a light complexion, and short black hair with a fade. He had a heavy accent. He was last seen wearing a white, collared short sleeved shirt, similar to a uniform shirt, and dark brown or beige work pants.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a black or dark green older model Honda 4-door with dark colored cloth seats.
