The O.C. Democratic Party is hellbent on distributing drug needles in Santa Ana

The Resolutions Committee of the Democratic Party of Orange County passed a resolution calling on Santa Ana to restore approval for the Orange County Needle Exchange Program (OCNEP) back in February of this year. And now the Democrats are backing only the Santa Ana City Council candidates who are promoting passing out drug needles in our community.

The City Council candidates who have said, on the record, that they support passing out drug needles in Santa Ana, include Roman Reyna, Ward 4; Nelida Mendoza, Ward 6 and Paul Gonzales, Ward 2. Of those Mendoza and Gonzales are endorsed by the Democratic Party of Orange County – even though there are other Democrats running for the wards in question. (They would have backed Reyna too but he screwed up so much while he was trying to carpetbag in Ward 4 that the Democrats had to take a hard pass). Continue reading→

Advisory: CMPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying two men suspected of stabbing a woman

The Costa Mesa Police Department (CMPD) is seeking the public’s help in identifying two men suspected of stabbing a 57-year-old woman, who was driving near College Avenue between Baker Street and Gisler Avenue, early this morning.

Today, Oct. 23, 2018, at about 4:00 a.m., the female victim was driving a dark-colored Toyota SUV along College Avenue, between Baker Street and Gisler Avenue, when she was confronted by two male adults in the street. They are described as two adult males wearing dark hoodies and jean pants. The victim momentarily stopped her SUV, at which time both suspects forcibly entered the SUV. Continue reading→

COSTA MESA, Calif. – The Costa Mesa Police Department (CMPD) collaborated with the Orange County Probation Department (OC Probation) on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, to conduct compliance checks on offenders subject to Post-Release Community Supervision (PRCS), per the State Prison Realignment Assembly Bill 109. Advisory: SAPD Traffic Investigators Arrest Suspect in Fatal Hit & Run Traffic Collision

On Friday, October 19, 2018 at approximately 5:25 a.m., the Santa Ana Police Department (SAPD) received a call of a pedestrian lying in the roadway in the middle lane of S. Bristol Street south of Central Street. As the reporting party was speaking to SAPD Dispatch, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle, described as gray or tan in color, was last seen headed north on Bristol.

SAPD Officers arrived at the scene to find the pedestrian, who was wearing dark clothing, non-responsive in the #1 northbound lane of Bristol. Orange County Fire Authority personnel arrived and pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. Continue reading→

Advisory: Attempt to Identify 2 Male Suspects and Involved Females In An Attempted Murder Case

Location: 122 E. 17th Street, Santa Ana, CA

On September 28, 2018 at 4:15 a.m., the victims parked and exited their vehicle and were con-fronted by two male Hispanic suspects. During the confrontation, one of the suspects fired multiple times at the victims with a handgun. One victim was shot in the foot. The suspects fled in a 2011-2014 Hyundai Sonata, 4-door, black, unknown plate.

The suspect driver was a heavy-set female Hispanic, dark hair, late 20s to early 30s in age. Continue reading→

During their investigation the male, identified as Milton Louis Mayfield made spontaneous statements indicating he may have killed a woman in a motel room in the area of First Street and Grand Ave in the City of Santa Ana. Former Santa Ana City Councilman Roman Reyna is trying to get back onto the City Council this year. He has moved from Ward 5, which he previously represented, to Ward 4.

As one might expect his detractors don’t want to see him get back onto the City Council. To that end a blistering mailer arrived in our mailboxes yesterday. Methamphetamine Trafficking Ring Allegedly Shipped Drugs to Hawaii Disguised as Aztec Calendars and Statues

SANTA ANA, California – Federal authorities this morning arrested eight defendants named in a grand jury indictment that alleges a scheme to send methamphetamine to Hawaii, including nearly 12 kilograms of narcotics made to look like decorative Aztec calendars and statues.

A Santa Ana man pleaded guilty to kidnapping a little boy from Jerome Park, to molest him

Armando Torreblanca Núñez

Armando Torreblanca Nunez, a 30-year-old Santa Ana man, ended up pleading guilty today to a felony count of kidnapping for purposes of child molesting just as jury selection was underway, according to NBC News.

The then 4-year old boy in question and his family were at a birthday party at Jerome Park when the family noticed that the boy was missing, at about 8:15 p.m. on July 27, 2016, according to the SAPD. Continue reading→

The SAPD found an apparent homicide victim at a local motel

A person was found dead in at the Sunshine Village motel in Santa Ana Tuesday, and SAPD police detectives are investigating it as an apparent homicide, according to ABC News.

SAPD police officers responded to the motel, which is located at 1427 E. First St., to do a welfare check, after 5 a.m., according to the O.C. Register. Continue reading→

One of our readers caught two suspects cutting down Tyler Diep and “O” No! signs on N. Euclid and W. 4th St. They were trying to cut down OC Sheriff candidate Duke Nguyen’s sign down too but they got spooked. A police report has been filed with the SAPD.

I was at an SAUSD school board forum last week and was shocked when some of the boorish radicals in the audience booed when they heard that I got a contribution from the Santa Ana Police Officers Association. Most folks in Santa Ana don’t hate the police. But a small, very vocal minority does. And they are backing a slate of candidates that we need to steer clear of.
