SANTA ANA, CA (January 2, 2014) – President Barack Obama has proclaimed January as “National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month”. On January 11th, the Santa Ana Public Library will present an information and resource workshop on Human Trafficking and Domestic Abuse.
Almost every country in the world is affected by trafficking, whether as a country of origin, transit or destination for victims. Every year, thousands of men, women and children go missing, or are subject to domestic abuse. Understanding the victims of human trafficking and abuse is important to helping them restore their lives. Continue reading
