Honorable Lou Correa, a Democrat from Santa Ana, has been appointed to the High-Speed Rail Commission. Former Senator Correa is an attorney and served in the California Legislature from 2006 to 2014 and 1998 to 2004. He also served as an Orange County Supervisor from 2004 to 2006. In 2012, Correa helped ensure that funding for projects in California’s “bookends” was included in the final high-speed rail deal.
