2013 OC Fair’s Second Week Features More Family Fun Plus Performances by Weezer, Monster X Tour and Ozomatli

As part of the City Days program, the OC Fair will salute Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Los Alamitos, Santa Ana, Seal Beach and Stanton on select days July 24-26 with a community flag salute and discount admission coupons.

Costa Mesa, Calif. Discounts and Deals on Admission, Food & Rides Offered at 2013 OC Fair

Costa Mesa, Calif. (July 3, 2013) – The 2013 OC Fair ( July 12-August 11), themed “Come & Get It,” offers a multitude of promotions, discounts, and deals to allow fairgoers to come and get the most out of the Fair without breaking their budget.

The best, wallet-friendly option is the OC Fair Super Pass which offers the passholder admission all 23 days of the 2013 OC Fair plus express entry at all gates, 2-for-1 tickets for select Pacific Amphitheatre concerts, 20 percent discount on tickets to select events in The Hangar and the Action Sports Arena, and a carnival savings book. The 2013 Super Pass prices are General $35, Senior (60+) $30 and Youth (6-12) $25 and is available for purchase online at ocfair.com/superpass through July 5, from the on-site Box Office at the Pacific Amphitheatre or at any Fair gate during Fair hours. “Come & Get It” at the 2013 OC Fair (July 12-August 11)

Annual Summer Celebration Features Food, Concerts, Entertainment, Exhibits and Endless Summer Fun

Costa Mesa, Calif. (February 13, 2013) – The OC Fair is ringing the dinner bell and inviting Fairgoers to “Come & Get It” this summer with food, fun, entertainment, exhibits, rides and more July 12-August 11, 2013.

The 23-day tradition, themed “Come & Get It” in 2013, will entice Fairgoers to get their fill of giant turkey legs, sweet funnel cakes, fluffy cotton candy, roasted corn and tons of other tasty options on a stick, from the BBQ or deep-fried. Nguyen responds to critics of her destruction of CalOptima

Orange County Supervisor Janet Nguyen struck back at the Orange County Grand Jury this week, in an editorial published by the O.C. Register.

Nguyen claims that CalOptima, the County’s largest insurer – which provides for the health care needs of the poor, was wasting money. In particular she referenced the purchase of a building that was bought by CalOptima and for which they are still paying a lease. But Supervisor John Moorlach “defended the building purchase, saying the cash transaction reduced the organization’s overall occupancy costs even though it had to keep its lease at the former building,” according to the O.C. Register.

Week Two of the 2012 OC Fair Offers Extreme Pogo, Dodgeball, Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine and Girl Scouts Anniversary Celebration

Costa Mesa, Calif. (July 24, 2012) – The 2012 OC Fair will continue offering a summer variety of fun, food and family as it goes into its second week of events. The Food Network’s Robert Irvine will offer a dynamic culinary demonstration for free in The Hangar on July 26 at 1 p.m., while amateur foodies get hot and spicy at the Special Culinary Arts Competition featuring Chili, Wings and Salsa on Saturday, July 28 (Register by Wednesday, July 25). Plus, the Girl Scouts invite Fairgoers to celebrate the organization’s 100th anniversary on July 27 with a full day of activities and entertainment.
