Community: 2016 Pitch Hit & Run Competition / Competencia de Lanzar, Batear y Correr 2016
The City of Santa Ana’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency Youth Sports Program is proud to be a host site for the 2016 Pitch, Hit & Run competition. The Pitch, Hit & Run is the official youth skills competition of Major League Baseball (MLB). This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to participate; free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball/softball skills.
“These types of efforts add to the opportunities for our youth to build resilient character traits and help develop into responsible young adults,” said City of Santa Ana Council Member Roman Reyna, who is on the Council’s Committee on Parks, Recreation, Education, and Youth. Continue reading
