SANTA ANA, Calif. – A striker was arraigned today for the human trafficking, pandering, and attempted pimping of a fictitious minor girl using a social media website. AC Antonio Chavez Moses III, 39, Los Angeles, is charged with one felony count of human trafficking of a minor, one felony count of attempted pimping of a minor, and one felony count of pandering by promise, threat, or violence to become a prostitute. Moses also faces sentencing enhancement allegations for a prior strike conviction for voluntary manslaughter with the use of a firearm in 1996 in Los Angeles County, and a prior prison conviction for pandering and battery in Clark County, Nevada in 2012. If convicted, Moses faces a maximum sentence of 20 years and eight months in state prison. Moses is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on May 20, 2016, at 8:30 am. in Department N-3, North Justice Center, Fullerton. Continue reading
