AmeriCorps Recognition Luncheon slated for March 8
Celebrate with us as we salute the service of 40-plus AmeriCorps members in Orange County
SANTA ANA, Calif., March 4, 2016 – Join more than 100 AmeriCorps members, supervisors from partner sites and other supporters at the Dehli Center to recognize AmeriCorps partners and volunteers who inspire hope, change lives and make a powerful and permanent impact on members of our Orange County community.
A special awards ceremony combines with live music to honor the 41 AmeriCorps members who serve at 36 nonprofit partner sites and schools throughout Orange County. Of these members, 18 CalPREP members promote college readiness at schools and nonprofits, 17 VIP members increase volunteer capacity at nonprofits and six DRVP members build non-profit disaster-preparedness programs.
