OC Crime Lab Discovers Errors in Blood-Alcohol Tests
SANTA ANA, CA – (November 21, 2013) – Earlier this month, the Orange County Crime Lab (OCCL) discovered a clerical error in calibrating one of two machines used to analyze blood alcohol concentration. Everest College in Santa Ana will be hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross, an event they put together every three months as a way of contributing to the community, on Oct. 10, from 8 am to 2 pm.
Usually the majority of the volunteers and donors are students, faculty and staff; this year, between 60-65 participants are expected to donate. The public is however invited to donate blood at this event. Continue reading
