Celebrate Halloween at Comic Book Shops!
Visit a participating local comic book store this weekend, Oct. 26 and 27, and get one of 22 free comic books – including Batman, Spider-Man Thor and Sesame Street – at Halloween ComicFest 2013.
Your local comic book specialty shop is a great destination for the latest Halloween and horror pop-culture products and merchandise: from comics and graphic novels to costumes, toys and more! You can meet Comic book artists and writers at the Tustin Library, in their Community Room, today, Sunday, March 10, from 1 pm to 3:30 pm, according to Comic Book Therapy. The Tustin library is located at 345 E. Main Street,in Tustin. This event is sponsored by the O.C. Public Library.
The event will feature a panel discussion with industry insiders: Kevin Grevioux, co-creator of the “Underworld” franchise; Danny Miki, illustrator for Marvel Comics; Christopher E. Long, creator of “Hiding in Time”; Jackson Lanzing and David Server, co-creators of “Freakshow” and Shannon Eric Denton, former writer, illustrator and editor at WildStorm Productions. Platinum Ink Studios is hosting a comic book and superhero art show tonight, March 5, from 6 pm to 11:30 pm, at the Santa Ana Art Walk, which is free to all. This is a family event, so please come and enjoy the show, whether you are an artist and or an art lover.

Platinum Ink Studios is featuring artwork from pro, to street, cells to figurines, classics to the newest looks. You will also be able to meet some of the comic book artists.
Also, Platinum Ink will have an onsite artist airbrushing custom items for you, so bring any “plain, new” item that you wish to get airbrushed on.
