Irvine Police Department Arrests Violin Teacher Accused of Sexual Misconduct
Irvine, Calif. (May 16, 2018) – The Irvine Police Department has arrested a violin teacher who is accused of felony sexual misconduct with a child from 2005-2007. Peter Kwon, 32, was taken into custody Wednesday at 11:55 a.m. outside his Irvine home.
At the time of the crimes, Kwon taught violin lessons out of his home. His victim, Jane Doe, was an 8-year-old student when the abuse began. Jane Doe came forward to Irvine Police detectives last month and an investigation was initiated. Kwon was arrested for lewd acts with a child under age 14 and digital penetration of a child under age 10. Police believe there is at least one other victim. Continue reading
Two Tustin Police officers suffered minor injuries on Wednesday while scuffling with Christopher Perleberg, 30, of Santa Ana, who is suspected of violating a domestic violence restraining order, according to the O.C. Register.
The police officers showed up at the Key Inn and Suites in the 1600 block of El Camino Real in Tustin at about 1:50 in the morning and they discovered that Perleberg was violating a domestic violence restraining order. Continue reading

The Orange County Global Medical Center is located at 1001 N Tustin Ave., in Santa Ana. This medical center is located just a few blocks southeast of the Albertson’s where a robbery suspect got away last week after a police pursuit from Mission Viejo. Continue reading
Bradley Seibert, 54, barricaded himself inside his home in unincorporated North Tustin on Mother’s Day for 8 1/2 hours before giving himself up early Monday morning and getting arrested for allegedly threatening a neighbor, according to the O.C. Register.
OC Sheriff’s Deputies showed up at Seibert’s home at about 5 p.m. on Sunday evening, at the 1400 block of Treasure Lane. Seibert proceeded to barricade himself in the house until he finally gave up to SWAT Deputies at about 1:30 a.m., after they told him they had a warrant for his address. Continue reading

On May 7, 2018, at approximately 2:29 p.m., Officers responded to a call of an interrupted residential burglary in the 16000 block of Caribou Street. As the first Officer arrived, the victim stated he saw suspect-1 run from his residence and jump over the adjoining wall into a neighbor’s backyard. While speaking to the victim, the Officer saw a suspicious vehicle, a dark grey BMW, parked on Caribou Street just north of the victim’s residence. As the Officer approached the BMW, suspect-2 jumped out and starting running northbound on Caribou Street until he ran into a side yard. An unidentified armed suspect robbed the 76 station at 1502 E. Edinger Ave., in Santa Ana, this afternoon and then he led the SAPD on a pursuit that ended half an hour later in Tustin, according to the O.C. Register.

The SAPD tried to stop the driver of a possibly stolen Audi sedan with paper dealer plates this morning at about 10 a.m. The driver took off and led the police on a wild pursuit that finally ended in Bellflower at about 11:25 a.m.
