The Beaumont family was moving from California to Arizona but when they spent the night at the La Quinta Inn in Santa Ana, on Sunday, May 22, their U-Haul truck, containing all their belongings was stolen, according to ABC News.

Advisory: Suspect Involved In Officer Involved Shooting Identified
Suspect: Alma Ramirez (27) Santa Ana
On 5/24/16, at approximately 7:50 p.m., officers responded to the area of 5th Street and Mountain View regarding a female suspect armed with a knife, attempting to stab a male victim. While in route to the call, the suspect attempted to carjack an elderly couple and in her attempts to do so, stabbed the owner of the vehicle. Continue reading→
As we reported on our Facebook page tonight, a woman in her 20’s was shot by the SAPD after she allegedly stabbed two people and fled on her bike.
The shooting happened at around 8 p.m., when the SAPD made contact with the suspect at the 3300 block of West Fifth Street, according to the O.C. Register.
The suspect stabbed the owner of a vehicle during an attempt to carjack the vehicle at the corner of W. 5th and New Hope Streets, according to CBS News. Continue reading→

Advisory: SAPD Detectives Requesting Assistance Identifying Sexual Assault Suspect
On Sunday, May 22, 2016, at about 4:25 in the afternoon, a 9-year-old boy was with his mother, attending a birthday party at Jerome Park, 726 S. Center Street, Santa Ana. The boy went into the public bathroom at the park. Shortly after entering the bathroom, a male entered the same bathroom. The suspect had a short conversation with the victim in Spanish before the suspect touched the victim’s genitals. The suspect then fled the bathroom.
The victim said the suspect was a male, 25-35 years old, had short hair, a thin mustache and was wearing a white t-shirt and blue pants. The victim does not know the suspect and has not seen him in the past. Continue reading→

SANTA ANA, Calif. – A man was sentenced yesterday for the pimping and pandering of a woman and keeping all of the money that she had received from commercial sex acts. Korry Lyn Williams, 26, Hemet, pleaded guilty yesterday, May 20, 2016, to one felony count of pimping and one felony count of pandering. Williams was sentenced to six years in state prison stayed pending the completion of 412 days in jail, four years of formal probation, and was ordered to pay restitution.
Circumstances of the Case
Williams is a pimp who exploits women for financial gain. The victims are often required to turn over all payment they receive for sex acts from sex purchasers to their pimp. Continue reading→

SANTA ANA, Calif. – A Garden Grove man will face trial Monday for the special circumstances shooting-murder of a man and attempted murder of two women in Santa Ana. Dustin Sean Ross McDonald, 24, is charged with one felony count of special circumstances murder by lying in wait, and two felony counts of attempted murder with premeditation and deliberation. He also faces sentencing enhancements for the personal discharge of a firearm causing death or great bodily injury. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of life in state prison without the possibility of parole. Opening statements are scheduled to begin Monday, May 23, 2016, in Department C-30, Central Justice Center, Santa Ana. The time is to be determined. Continue reading→
A female driver and her male passenger led police on a wild chase as they drove a stolen vehicle through Garden Grove, Santa Ana and Tustin, eventually ending in Irvine this afternoon when the couple were arrested, according to the O.C. Register.
The police pursuit began in Garden Grove and the SAPD took over at around 3:20 p.m. when the stolen vehicle entered Santa Ana’s city limits.
When the police ran the license plate of the stolen 2004 Toyota Camry they found it was registered out of Santa Ana. Continue reading→

Investigators Ask For Public’s Assistance to ID Suspect
EL MODENA, Ca. (May 19, 2016) – On Wednesday May 18, 2016 at approximately 8:50 a.m. a home invasion robbery occurred on the 18000 block of East Vine Avenue in El Modena. At the time of the home invasion, one female and one male were inside the residence. The suspect approached the female victim and demanded money while threatening her with a knife. Hearing the commotion, the male victim confronted the suspect and sustained a cut to his face during an ensuing altercation. The injury sustained was not life threatening. Continue reading→

In the last four days, we have taken seven reports of wallet thefts from customers shopping at the Marketplace and the District. Victims were targeted at TJ Maxx (both Marketplace and District), Costco (District), Union Market (District), Make It Fit (Marketplace) and Panera Bread (District). Based on video evidence, one male suspect distracted the victim while the second suspect removed the wallet. The stolen credit cards were used at Target (District) and the Apple Store in Costa Mesa. These suspects just struck again approximately 30 minutes ago in the District.
The suspects in the attached photo are from the wallet theft in TJ Maxx at the District. They used the victim’s credit card at Target. We believe these suspects are local based on the amount of crimes committed in Tustin. SANTA ANA, Calif. – A man was convicted yesterday, May 17, 2016, of human trafficking, pimping, and pandering woman, and attempting to pimp another woman by threatening the victims. Johnny Lee Guyton Jr., 46, Henderson, Nevada, was found guilty by a jury of one felony count of human trafficking, one felony count of pimping, two felony counts of pandering, and one felony count of attempted pimping. Guyton faces a maximum sentence of 21 years and four months in state prison at his sentencing on June 9, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. in Department C-37, Central Justice Center, Santa Ana.
On April 21, 2015, Guyton was charged in case 15NF1059 with two felony counts of human trafficking, two felony counts of pimping, two felony counts of pandering. This case was subsequently consolidated with case 15NF2346. Continue reading→
In case you are wondering why Santa Ana’s Lincoln Elementary School was locked down today, here are the details. An unidentified man apparently stabbed another man in his 30’s this morning in what police described as a dispute between roommates, according to the OC Register.

SANTA ANA, Calif. – A striker was arraigned today for the human trafficking, pandering, and attempted pimping of a fictitious minor girl using a social media website. AC Antonio Chavez Moses III, 39, Los Angeles, is charged with one felony count of human trafficking of a minor, one felony count of attempted pimping of a minor, and one felony count of pandering by promise, threat, or violence to become a prostitute. Moses also faces sentencing enhancement allegations for a prior strike conviction for voluntary manslaughter with the use of a firearm in 1996 in Los Angeles County, and a prior prison conviction for pandering and battery in Clark County, Nevada in 2012. If convicted, Moses faces a maximum sentence of 20 years and eight months in state prison. Moses is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on May 20, 2016, at 8:30 am. in Department N-3, North Justice Center, Fullerton. Continue reading→

Advisory: SAPD Detectives Seek Additional Victims In Arrest Of Loan Officer
Arrested Maxwell Hernandez (24) Corona
Details: In January of 2015, the victim started negotiating with RFG Services, 1500 Block of East 4th Street, Santa Ana, to refinance his home. Maxwell Hernandez, 25, of Corona, was the loan officer working with the victim. As is customary with refinancing, the victim provided Hernandez with the personal information required to complete the loan application.
The victim and Hernandez shortly became friends, prompting the victim to allow Hernandez to borrow his vehicle for the weekend. When Hernandez returned the vehicle, the victim found paperwork in the vehicle left behind by Hernandez. The victim found recent purchase contracts for a Harley Davidson motorcycle valued at $32,000 and documents to a Toyota 4Runner, valued at $47,000 in his vehicle. The paperwork listed both the Harley Davidson and Toyota as belonging to the victim. The victim did not purchase these items, and contacted the Santa Ana Police Department. Continue reading→
