Santa Ana Little Leagues now operating under open boundaries

It isa new day for Santa Ana Little League as Little League District 30 has granted Santa Ana’s Little Leagues permission to run a trial program this year that will create open boundaries in our city.  That means your child will be able to sign up at the Santa Ana Little League of your choice! District 30’s  Santa Ana boundaries run from East of Santa Ana River to the 55 Freeway South of the 22 Freeway & North of the 405 Freeway.

This is likely a reaction to the Pony League that set up shot in Santa Ana last year.  They too can recruit players from all over the city and they have pilfered the ranks of our local Little Leagues.

NESALL to host the District 30 Challenger All Star Little League game

Dear Challenger Division Volunteer: The Western Region and District 57 Little League are pleased to announce that the 8th Annual Challenger Jamboree will once again...

Northeast Santa Ana Little League (NESALL) will host the District 30 Challenger All Star Game on Saturday May 19, 2012 @ 9:00 am. Please come out and support these great kids as they battle their physical challenges to play a game of baseball. It is an uplifting experience for these children to play the field, hit the ball, and run the bases. Your cheers of support as they play this game brings so much joy to their lives.

As we move forward into next season we hope to identify volunteers and players who want to take part in a Santa Ana Challenger team. Please come out and see what it is all about. If you have friends or neighbors with children with special needs, please forward this invitation to them and encourage them to come out and get information about the program. Continue reading→
