Celebrate Father’s Day at the Bowers Museum

Celebrate Father’s Day today at Santa Ana’s Kidseum and the Bowers Museum. And check out the new Kidseum sign, which looks like a billboard for “Hangover 3 – Kids gone wild.”

Kids can design a card for their dad at the Kidseum, while the Bowers is featuring a talk by Christopher Wills, about Darwinian evolution. Details below.

Dads get in free today at the Lyon Air Museum, in Santa Ana, with the purchase of a child’s ticket. What a blast! The Museum opens today at 10 am, to 4 pm.

Founded by Major General William Lyon, Lyon Air Museum is located on the west side of John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California. Lyon Air Museum is collocated with Martin Aviation, an Air/Lyon Inc. company and award-winning general aviation repair facility established by the famed Eddie Martin back in 1923.

The Lyon Air Museum exhibit is comprised of authentic aircraft, rare vehicles and related memorabilia, with emphasis on the defining event of the 20th century – World War II. Through captivating and thought provoking exhibits based in historical scholarship, visitors gain a better understanding of the important role the United States plays in shaping world history.

The coupon for this offer is at the bottom of this email. Dads or Grandfathers must print and present the coupon at the train station ticket window in order to ride free. This offer is limited to one coupon per family, group or household.

And, through Sunday, August 29th, rent a deuce coupe bike from Wheel Fun Rentals at Irvine Park and get half off the rental cost. Children 18 years of age and younger must wear a helmet when riding a bike; helmets are provided at no additional cost.
