An SAPD K-9 dog apparently bit a homeless man early this morning, just before 12:30 a.m., according to the O.C. Register.
The SAPD reported that the K-( and his handler stopped at 500 West Rowland Ave., so the K-9 could take a pottie break. But there were two transients there, at an encampment. Things escalated quickly.
The K-9 attack on the homeless man was labeled an “accident” by the SAPD. The police spokesman, Cmdr. Phil Craft, said that the encampment was “where they weren’t supposed to be.” Where exactly are homeless encampments supposed to be? Continue reading
