Bothers Jose Luis Renteria and Martin Valencia Renteria were visiting Santa Ana, CA from El Paso TX. On July 27, 1990 they left in a 1978 Silver Chrysler for Los Angeles from Santa Ana and they have not been seen or heard from since that date.

DECEDENTS: Rachel Nguyen, age 20 of Westminster and Joseph Orbeso, age 22 of Lakewood
On Sunday, October 15, 2017, at 1:50 pm, Sheriff’s dispatch received a call from a park ranger at the Joshua Tree National Park regarding two deceased persons located inside the park. Deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station were flown to the area as it was not accessible by vehicle, and was described as a steep canyon to the far north of the Maze Loop Trailhead.
Due to suspicious circumstances and visible injuries to the decedents, detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail were requested to respond to the location. Santa Ana resident Kristyne Olivia Trejo disappeared twenty eight years ago, on June 27, 1988. Her son, Andrew Trejo was about to graduate from fifth grade at the time. But he never saw his mom again.
Trejo had planned to attend a drug addiction recovery meeting the morning that she was last seen. She had been a waitress prior to her disappearance.
Trejo’s family did everything they could to find her. They filed a missing persons report. They hired private investigators. And they even appeared on an episode of “Unsolved Mysteries.” But they could not find any trace of Trejo. Continue reading
