Santa Ana resident Nauit Tetl interviewed Larry Elder, the Republican radio host who appears on KABC, when Joe Arpaio visited the Nixon Library last week. Above you can see the results.
Tetl kept asking Elder why Arapio, who is the Sheriff of Arizona’s Maricopa County, doesn’t target those who employ “illegals.” Watch Elder spit out the usual GOP talking points. And to think this guy used to be a Libertarian!
Santa Ana resident Naui Tetl was all set to lead a rally against Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak, on Saturday, but then Mubarak stepped down, after 30 years in power. But Naui went forward with the rally – which was now a celebration for the people of Egypt.
You can see the results in the video above. Anaheim has had an Arab population for some time – but now they have come together – too late to help Bill Dalati, who ran for the Anaheim City Council last year, but just in time to celebrate the new freedom in Egypt.

The big debate now is whether the Muslim Brotherhood will take over Egypt when they hold elections in about six months. If they do, so be it. That is democracy. It isn’t always pretty. But if that is what the Egyptians want, who are we to deny them that?

Mexican-bashing Joe Arpaio, the Sheriff in Arizona’s Maricopa County, probably thought he was in for a mellow evening tonight, at the Nixon Library. But Santa Ana resident Naui Tetl, showed up with his trusty video camera. The result is an instant classic, as Naui reminds Arpaio that he is an “Italian Anchor Baby!”

Arpaio was accompanied by failed O.C. Sheriff candidate Bill Hunt, who has apparently grown a “porn-stache.” Hunt was blown out of the water last year, by O.C. Sheriff Sandra Hutchens, after he resorted to racism in his sad campaign – and after he brought Arpaio to the O.C. to campaign for him. Mission not accomplished! Hunt now appears to be a rent-a-cop. Sad.
Our 2010 Santa Ana Man of the Year, Naui Huitzilopochtli, who now goes by Naui Tetl, has done it again. This time he helped to organize a massive rally with over 200 protesters, in Anaheim, on behalf of the people of Egypt, who are fighting to get rid of their dictator, Hosni Mubarak.
“With the aid (the U.S. government) provide each year, we are funding a dictator,” said Naui Huitzilopochtli, 33, an activist from Santa Ana and one of the organizers of the march. “This shouldn’t be an Egyptian thing. Everybody should care about this issue,” according to the O.C. Register.

In related news, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and his family have amassed a fortune estimated at $70 billion according to analysis by Middle East experts poll by the London Guardian. And very little of that stash is kept in his own country, they say. Much of his wealth is in British and Swiss banks or tied up in real estate in London, New York, Los Angeles and along expensive tracts of the Red Sea coast.
