Northeast Santa Ana Little League’s fireworks stand burglarized and tagged on July 4

Nesall fireworks stand broken into and tagged by gangs

The Northeast Santa Ana Little League (NESALL) Fireworks Stand, located at 1900 North Grand Avenue, in Santa Ana, was burglarized early this morning by three unidentified men who broke into the stand and stole fireworks valued at approximately $700.00, including the stand’s TNT Big Bang, a huge assortment of fireworks worth over $500.  The miscreants also tagged the stand – which means they may have been lowlife cholos!

The thieving gangbangers came to the stand at around around 7:00 a.m. and pulled their truck up behind the stand. They cut the connection to the stand as well as an internal bolt. The stand’s security guard realized that they did not completely pass the stand and went to the east end and he was able to interrupt them.  That limited what they could take and thankfully they did not take any money.    Continue reading→

Northeast Santa Ana Little League Pancake Breakfast and Car Wash set for Sunday

The historic Northeast Santa Ana Little League is hosting their 59th Annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday morning, April 19, 2014, from 8 am to 12 noon.  Tickets offer a freshly cooked pancake and sausage breakfast, coffee, milk or orange juice, and a Lamppost Pizza coupon! Tickets are available at the event. NESALL is located next to Sierra Intermediate at 2100 N. Grand Ave., just north of 17th.

There will also be a car wash from 9 am to 3 pm.  All proceeds will benefit NESALL. Continue reading→

The historic Northeast Santa Ana Little League (NESALL) hosted their Opening Day celebration on Saturday with help from Santa Ana Mayor Pro Tem Vince Sarmiento.

The ceremony included a CHP officer and the Santa Ana High School ROTC Honor Guard as well as a SAHS choir singer who performed the National Anthem. Continue reading→

Registrations now open for spring baseball at the Northeast Santa Ana Little League

NESALL

Once again Santa Ana will have open Little League boundaries in the upcoming season.  What this means is that your child can play at the historic Northeast Santa Ana Little League (NESALL) and qualify for all stars if you live or attend school within our boundaries.  All Santa Ana residents may play at NESALL, however they may have limited eligibility for All-Stars.  The boundaries are changing due to changes within the city.

League age is based upon child’s age on April 30, 2015 for children born prior to 2005.  Children born in after 2006 will play based upon their year of birth.  (Example: All children born in 2006 are now league age 9, all children born in 2007 are league are 8 etc.).

Spring registration continues Saturday December 13, 2014.  We will be accepting applications in person from 9:00 to 1:00 at NESALL.  Online registration is open 24 hours a day at www.nesall.org or by clicking here.  If you do not remember your prior user id, please emailnesallvp@gmail.com and request the information. NESALL Little League Fireworks Stand

Safe and Sane fireworks are still legal in Santa Ana.  You can help support the Northeast Santa Ana Little League (NESALL) by purchasing fireworks at their TNT Fireworks stand, located at 1900 N. Grand Ave., across from Sierra Intermediate, in the parking lot of the shopping center on 17th and Grand Ave., in front of the vacant Food for Less store.  A CVS store currently anchors the center.

The NESALL fireworks sales help to fund baseball scholarships for kids who want to play Little League baseball but lack the means to do so.

Northeast Santa Ana Little League’s 11-year-olds to play in finals tomorrow!

Congratulations to the Northeast Santa Ana Little League (NESALL) 11-Year-Olds as they beat Anaheim Hills 12-4 to advance to the District 30 Finals.  

This is the first team from NESALL in 15 years to make it to the finals!  The finals are on Saturday July 7, 2012 at 3:00 at North Sunrise Little League.   Continue reading→

1st Annual NESALL Hit-A-Thon

The 2011 Northeast Santa Ana Little League (NESALL) Fundraiser will take place on Sunday, April 10, 2011.

This years fundraising theme is a Hit-A-Thon, which will take place in conjunction with the annual Pancake Breakfast.

Each youngster has to raise a minimum of $45.00. With each minimum sponsorship each child will receive a “2011 NESALL Hit-A-Thon” shirt to wear the day of the Hit-A-Thon and to keep as memorabilia.

Jacob Pedroza, a member of the NESALL Single-A Yankees, gets a hit!

1st and 2nd place trophies will be awarded to the farthest hitters in each division from T-ball through Majors. Additional incentives will be awarded for teams with the most money raised.
