Santa Ana’s City Place recently suffered through the abrupt closure of their McCormick & Schmicks restaurant, but there is good news to report now, as a new restaurant called Paninoteca Maggio opened its doors at 195 City Place Dr., in April of this year.
“Turns out, this isn’t your average sandwich shop – Chef Sharron Barshishat is formerly of L.A.-based food truck Great Balls on Tires,” according to the O.C. Register. Great Balls on Fire (GBOT) serves meatballs and other savory balls of food, according to their website. Continue reading
