We reported yesterday that the SAPD has responded to a crime scene at 1441 E. 17th St., in Santa Ana., in Santa Ana, at about 5 p.m.
Today the SAPD revealed that an adult was fatally stabbed and a minor was also stabbed in this incident, according to ABC News. Continue reading
The SAPD has responded this afternoon to a vacant, dilapidated office building that has been a hangout for the homeless, at 1441 E. 17th St., in Santa Ana.

Advisory: Detectives Requesting Media And Public Assistance In Identifying Female Assault Suspect
Location: McDonald’s – 1439 N Bristol St, Santa Ana, CA 92706
Suspect: Female, Hispanic, brown hair, approx. 20-25 years old, pink shirt and gray sweatpants.
On 10/27/18 at approximately 11:00 PM, the suspect entered the McDonald’s restaurant from the employee back door and asked for ketchup. When the store manager said she could not be in the building, the suspect became combative. The suspect pushed, punched, and choked the victim.

On Monday, November 12, 2018, at 1:40 AM, an unidentified male caller reported to 911 dispatchers that his friend was shot in the area of West 1st Street and N. Pacific Avenue. Shortly thereafter, an unidentified male dropped off an unidentified female at a local hospital. The male fled prior to officers arrival. The adult female had a gunshot wound to her upper body. SANTA ANA PD DETECTIVES INVESTIGATING HOMICIDE – 1600 BLOCK OF WEST WISTERIA PLACE
On Sunday, November 11, 2018, at 4:16 PM, SAPD Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the 1600 block of West Wisteria Place. Officers located an unresponsive adult male suffering from gunshot wounds on the grass parkway. Orange County Fire Authority paramedics responded, treated, and transported the victim to a local trauma center. The attending physician declared the victim deceased at 5:10 PM. Continue reading
An armed man held off the SAPD for 8 hours today at his home before finally surrendering, according to the O.C. Register.
The unidentified suspect, described as a man in his 60’s, was suspected of pointing a rifle at people from the front yard of his property, located at the 1400 block of Van Ness Ave. Continue reading
The SAPD responded today at around 11:15 a.m. to reports of a man holding a gun in the front yard of his property, at the 1400 block of Van Ness Avenue, according to the O.C. Register.

Victim – Male Hispanic (19), pending identification from the Coroner
On Monday, November 5, 2018, at 1:10 AM, SAPD Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 2329 Ramona Drive. (Editor’s note – This happened just south of Memorial Park and Washington Elementary School). Officers located an unresponsive adult male suffering from gunshot wounds on the front lawn of a residence. For some reason an off-duty Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy decided to sleep in his car as it was parked in front of a friend’s home in Santa Ana, at the 900 block of S. Hickory St., early on Nov. 4. That decision did not pan out for him as he ended up getting assaulted and robbed, according to the O.C. Register.
The deputy ended up with minor injuries. According to the SAPD it looked like he had been punched. His assailant stole the deputy’s cell phone and cash. Continue reading

Garden Grove police set up surveillance on a vehicle that was stolen in a residential burglary on Oct. 25. The vehicle was left in the area of Euclid and W. First Streets, in Santa Ana, according to the O.C. Register.
The surveillance trap worked! A suspect got into the stolen red Jeep Liberty at 11:45 a.m yesterday. and started to drive it away. Police attempted to stop the suspect but he sped off. Continue reading

Amer Alhasan, 28, of La Habra, was arrested late on Wednesday afternoon at LAX as he was waiting to board a flight he had already checked into – which was described by the Anaheim Police as an attempt to escape from this country.
Alhasan was wanted on suspicion of killing Tyanie Sopheap Ly, 38, of Santa Ana, then stuffing her body in a duffel bag that was left in a dumpster on the 2100 block of Balboa Plaza on or before Tuesday, Oct. 30, according to the O.C. Register. Continue reading
Felony hate crime and other charges were filed Tuesday against Bryce Cameron Agius, 27, a man accused of directing racially derogatory comments at four Latino men, throwing a knife at a Costa Mesa police officer and head-butting another officer when taken to jail, according to the O.C. Register.
Agius, who is white, is charged with four counts of committing a hate crime and one count each of assault with a weapon on a peace officer and resisting arrest, according to Deputy District Attorney Jake Jondle, according to CBS News. Continue reading

On 10/27/18 at approximately 7 pm a suspect was caught on surveillance video in a residential backyard. The suspect was naked, peeping into the residential windows, and masturbating. With the assistance of the media, surveillance footage of the incident was released and broadcasted through various news outlets. Continue reading
A Santa Ana homeowner is alerting other residents after her home surveillance cameras captured a naked man prowling in her backyard for about an hour, peering into windows as three other women were inside looking after the house, according to KTLA News.
The homeowner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was not home at the time – but her house guests called her during the incident. Continue reading

On October 27, 2018 at 10:40 AM, an 89-year old elderly male was attacked and stabbed in the restroom of the McDonald’s located at 13971 Harbor Blvd., in Garden Grove.
The attack was unprovoked and the motive is unknown. The victim was washing his hands when the suspect started punching and stabbing him numerous times. The suspect then fled on foot and ran westbound on Westminster Ave. Continue reading
