A 6-year-old boy, Steven Duarte Beltran, who was skateboarding with a friend inside the Villa Del Sol apartments was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday around 5:45 p.m., at the Santa Ana apartment complex where he lived, at the 800 block of South Fairview Street, according to the O.C. Register.
Beltran allegedly ran between two parked cars when he was hit by a vehicle, according to the SAPD. The police reported that he was rushing to buy candy across the street from the apartments when he darted out in front of the car that was being driven by an unidentified 43-year-old woman.
