Two thugs attacked a 59-year-old man on Thursday night, at around 10:45 p.m., robbing him of his satchel, at the 3700 block of South Greenville Street, in Santa Ana, according to the O.C. Register.
The man was rushed by two males who were wearing dark clothing, according to the SAPD.
The victim was fortunate to escape from the suspects however he later realized that his satchel was gone.
The man was not hurt. The SAPD searched the area but as usual the robbers got away.
This attack happened a block away from Griset Park, just south of Segerstrom High School in an area often referred to as “South Coast,” in Santa Ana’s Ward 6, which is represented by Councilman Sal Tinajero, who lives nearby in a gated community.
Whether it’s Santa Ana or Irvine, there’s no way I’d be walking the streets at 10:45 pm. That’s just not a logical thing to do…
Some folks work odd shifts. I bet he was on the way home from a swing shift.
